Office Support Staff


We are a non-profit seeking office support. We are deeply community focused and looking for a person who is passionate about social justice and communications. 

As an office support staff, you will:

  • Provide coordinating services to ensure the smooth running of AHC’s office, data management, and organization.

  • Work closely with the administrative team of AHC to assure that all of AHC’s files are in order, data is imputed in data folders is updated on a regular basis.

  • Answer phones, take messages and email messages to the intended staff.

  • Work with management to assure art programs run smoothly, as needed. 

  • Work closely with other staff to clean the AHC office on a daily basis before shift ends. 

  • Support staff with preparing supplies for their assigned classes. 

  • Table events in the community to promote our programs. 

  • Help source new grant, sponsorship and/or fundraising opportunities. 

  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Executive Director and the Executive Assistant.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in college courses, or a recent graduate.

  • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal.

  • Outgoing personality, comfortable with outreach.

  • Familiar with Office Suite and Google drive. Proficient in Excel. (list software proficiencies on resume). 

  • Organized

Pay/Hours:

$15-$17/hour, 20 hours per week (days/times flexible, M-F)

Initial contract 6 months. Opportunity to become a permanent, part-time employee after 6 months.

This is a PART-TIME POSITION.
