Drums and percussion of enormous variety play an important part by creating
diverse musical textures. They are coupled with the musician's innate
sense of tone and rhythm which enables them to combine different atmospheric
and earthly spirits into a syncopation of one homogeneous whole."

in indigenous traditions.
The spirit of this album hails from mother Africa, specifically Ghana, West
Africa. This work awakens us to the power of oral tradition in Africa and
how rhythm and vibration invokes in humanity the power and ability to transcend
the battle ground to a place of oneness. It is a soothing flow of music
which evokes spiritual kinship and a range of peaceful moods and emotions,
with air of mystique and sacredness for African gods and ancestors."
